Garlic Butter Shrimp is quick, flavorful, and perfect for a weeknight dinner. The sauce is rich but balanced, making it ideal over pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
Ingredients
500g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper
Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant but not browned. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika, then add them to the skillet in a single layer. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on one side until they begin to turn pink, then flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until fully opaque. Drizzle lemon juice over the shrimp and stir to combine. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top and serve immediately, either alone or over pasta or rice.
Tips
Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure even cooking.
Serve immediately; shrimp can become rubbery if overcooked.
